About the Role & Team

We are seeking a skilled Procurement IT Analyst to sit at the intersection of technology and procurement operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service to our business users for Procurement Technology (ZIP & Certify) ensuring seamless business activity in a growing organization. You will work closely with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.


What You’ll Do

Systems Management & Support

  • A key administrator and maintainer of procurement platforms (e.g. ZIP, Certify/Emburse or equivalent).
  • Manage system configurations, user access, and role-based permissions in line with governance policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement system issues, triaging and resolving tickets within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure system availability, patching, and compliance.
  • Raising production or process issues to the Procurement Systems Product Owner.

Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Analyse existing procurement workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend technology-led improvements.
  • Document current-state and future-state process maps, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Support the rollout of new procurement modules, features, or integrations as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analyses between system capabilities and business needs.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide visibility into procurement performance (spend, savings, supplier activity, cycle times).
  • Extract, cleanse, and analyse procurement data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity across systems through regular audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Support spend analytics and category management initiatives through data modelling.

Project & Change Delivery

  • Contribute to procurement technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new tool implementations.
  • Prepare user training materials, run workshops, and support end-user adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Liaise with vendors and implementation partners to manage deliverables and resolve issues.
  • Track project milestones, risks, and actions, reporting progress to key stakeholders.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure procurement systems and processes comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation, access logs, and process evidence.
  • Maintain system documentation including data dictionaries, user guides, and configuration records.



What You Bring

 

  • Experience: 2–3 years in a procurement, IT analyst, or business systems role with direct responsibility for procurement platforms.
  • System knowledge: Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise procurement platform (e.g. Emburse [Preferred], SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle, Ivalua,) and Project Management software (Jira [preferred], DevOps, Smartsheet)
  • Analytical skills: Strong ability to work with data — proficient in Excel; experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Process mapping: Able to document and analyse end-to-end procurement processes and translate requirements into system solutions.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication (English); able to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose system or data issues and drive resolution in a structured, methodical way.

You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and working across organisational boundaries.
