About the Role & Team

Join a fast-paced, international IT support team where your work directly improves the day-to-day experience of ~750 users across the EMEA region.  As a Junior IT Support Technician, you’ll be the “go-to” first point of contact for colleagues in the Ostrava/Prague office, while also supporting users remotely across multiple countries, time zones, and business functions. This role sits at the heart of our EMEA IT Support organization and offers a rare mix of hands-on local support plus regional exposure.  You’ll solve real problems that keep teams productive, learn modern corporate IT environments, and build strong foundations in troubleshooting, customer service, and end-to-end ticket ownership.  Every day brings variety — from quick fixes to deeper investigations — and you’ll see the direct impact of your work on business continuity and employee satisfaction. You’ll be part of the EMEA IT Support Team and report to the Helpdesk Team Leader, working closely with colleagues across the region to deliver consistent, high-quality support.  If you’re excited by technology, enjoy helping people, and want a role where you can grow quickly while making a visible difference, this is a great place to start (and build) your IT career.

What You’ll Do

  •  Provide technical support for users in Czech & English language in the EMEA region, their client computers running Windows/Mac, and the local technical infrastructure
  • Set up new client computers or reinstall for further use
  • Provide IT-related introduction training for new hires
  • Liaise with IT operation colleagues in order to resolve local issues, resolve tickets assigned within the IT helpdesk ticket system and escalate tickets as appropriate
  • Test and support the implementation of new IT technologies
  •

What You Bring

  • Fluent English - daily communication with native English speakers and people from foreign countries
  • Experience in customer facing or service position
  • Willing to learn and show initiative to develop yourself
  • Secondary education or equivalent
  • IT-related education
  • Proven professional experience with the installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware, operating systems (Windows/MACs) and applications
  • Understanding of network topologies, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Physical network management (UTP cabling and patching)

Required primary technical qualifications:

  • Proven technical knowledge of operating system Windows 11
  • Support level familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional experience with client hardware systems support
  • Experience with cloud computing (Office 365)

Desirable secondary qualification and experience:
