Overview

About the Role & Team

As our HR Business Partner, you will be the primary HR point of contact for our Czech Republic operations, supporting approximately 200 employees in Prague and 50 in Ostrava. You aren't doing this in a vacuum; you will be part of a collaborative, global HR community spanning the EMEA and APAC regions, giving you access to international expertise and broad perspective.

This is a true generalist role with a "hands-on" operational core. While you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, you will also own the day-to-day HR lifecycle. Please note: Recruitment is handled by a separate dedicated team, allowing you to focus entirely on employee relations, labor law compliance, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Partner with business leaders across various departments to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on all HR matters, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
  • Develop and implement HR Initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management,
  • Oversee the employee life cycle, from recruitment to offboarding including documents preparation and management and administration of HR systems.
  • Collaboration with an HR coordinator on HR administration and systems management and her guidance in terms of Czech labor law.
  • Stay up to date on Czech labor law and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify HR risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the HR team with day-to-day operations and projects.

What You Bring 

  • Preferred start date in April 2026 – 1 month overlap with current HRBP for the handover and training
  • Professional communication skills and fluent English and Czech language skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar HR role and up-to-date knowledge of Czech labor law; experience in management of contractors in an advantage
  • Experience with HR systems and databases, advanced MS 365 user
  • Fast learner, self-starter, hands-on approach
  • Hybrid working model of min. 3 days in the office (Prague city center) with occasional business trips to Ostrava (max. 1x per quarter)
