About the Role & Team

We are looking for an AR Accountant to join our Global Accounts Receivable team, supporting IDC business units across Europe. 

This role offers broad exposure to international stakeholders, end-to-end AR processes, and close collaboration across multiple finance and commercial functions in a global environment.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes for EMEA customers, including billing, payment application, reconciliations, and reporting 
• Set up and maintain customer master data in the accounting system 
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, including credit notes, and submit invoices via email and customer portals 
• Monitor financial terms in customer contracts and follow up on missing or unclear information with sales teams 
• Post and reconcile incoming payments, including offsets, credits, refunds, and bad debt write-offs 
• Maintain customer credit limits in line with internal guidelines 
• Prepare reporting and controls outputs including receivables aging, sales reporting, and cash forecasts 
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Accounting, Order Management, and General Ledger teams, gaining exposure across the full quote-to-cash lifecycle 
• Support timely resolution of overdue receivables through customer follow-up and collaboration with internal stakeholders 
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries related to invoices and payments 
• Support payment arrangements where required, in line with internal policies 

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles 
• Experience working with an ERP system; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage 
• Very good command of English; additional European languages are a plus 
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office 
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills 
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively 
• Comfortable working independently in a global, cross-functional environment 
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes
