IDC is looking to hire a Platform Team Leader. The Platform Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Platform team and leading from the front as a hands-on engineer. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring to ensure smooth, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of DevOps engineers.
• Own and evolve our AWS-based engineering infrastructure.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins migration).
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi) standards.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and application/service onboarding to ArgoCD.
• Develop and maintain observability solutions (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Mimir).
• Act as a consultant and subject-matter expert for complex platform issues across the company.
• Establish platform standards and promote safe, scalable practices.
• Drive automation, reliability, performance, and maintainability improvements.

• Experience: 5+ years in Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong Java-based application development background (JSP, backend practices).
• Proven expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, IaC (Pulumi).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Hands-on leadership with mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated track record of building scalable, reliable, and secure platform services.
