IDC is seeking Data Scientist who will join our Data Science team based in Prague, Czech Republic. We are a leading innovator in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and implementing NLP, AI, and generative models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy advanced data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement NLP models to extract insights from unstructured text data.
  • Design and build AI and generative AI algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate models into production systems.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP, AI, and generative AI.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, data science, information technology, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, with a focus on NLP, AI, and generative AI.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Transformers).
  • Experience with generative AI models (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALL-E).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
