We are seeking a Product Owner to join our team and design and launch a new digital platform through which IDC delivers its innovative data products to its customers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand the vision for the product, contributing to a product roadmap, and managing the dedicated part of the product backlog. The Product Owner will work closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers and is delivered on time and within budget.

The Product Owner will report directly to the Vice President, Digital Product Management and work closely with the UX team and development teams building the platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product.
• Collaborate on creation of the product roadmap based on the product vision.
• Work with the UX team to design the product features.
• Manage the product backlog and prioritize new features, defects, etc. based on customer needs.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers.
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role delivering digital products.
• Prior experience with a data-driven and data focused product is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with databases, change management practices, and process engineering methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must have, additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
