Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team and design, and launch the Knowledge Platform (KP), the new digital platform through which IDC delivers its innovative data products to its customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand the vision for the product, contributing a product roadmap, and managing the dedicated part of the product backlog. The Product Manager will work closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers and is delivered on time and within budget. The KP Product Manager will report directly to the Vice President, Digital Product Management for KP and work closely with their peer Product Manager s, UX team and development teams building the Knowledge Platform.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product.
  • Collaborate on creation of the product roadmap based on the product vision.
  • Work with UX team to design the product features.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize new features, defects, etc. based on customer needs.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Solution Architect.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager or similar role delivering digital products.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with databases, change management practices, and process engineering methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience of working with a remote development team is highly desirable.
