Your job as a Conference Project Manager / Attendee Acquisition Coordinator at IDC would be to primarily support the international Event team of 12+ people in the organization of Conferences, Summits and Custom events to help maintain high quality of the delivery. During your time with IDC, you will work on Events across the MEA region, mainly in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, as well as Egypt.

Location: Cairo, Egypt

• Secure registrations by telephone follow-up, keep registration lists up to date, and provide reports on the number and structure of registrants based on strategies and attendee lists provided and outlined by IDC.
• Do follow up & reminder calls to registrants, answer their questions, and provide information relating to the events.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with current and potential attendees.
• Follow up on leads generated through various channels to encourage event registration.
• Build and maintain a contact database for IDC conferences and events in Middle East.
• Gather feedback from attendees to enhance future events.

• Excellent polite and professional verbal communication in Arabic & English.
• A first experience in a similar role such as in sales tele-calling or customer service.
• Enjoy/know how to do some basic research on the internet and have working knowledge of Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively with their team.
• Flexibility in their personal life to attend a few events outside of standard working hours.
